Karate Events

1st SMA Summer Camp 2007 - Part 2	15-07-2007
Soon after it was time for training and everyone was keen to get in doors anyway. The course started with kihon followed by kumite drills and lastly kata Sochin which Sensei Brian demonstrated before teaching the various segments. The class was split into groups each with a black belt or two whose job it was to coach the junior grades through the sequence of moves. Finally each group show cased their kata to the applause of their peers before the seminar came to an end and sensei Brian thanked everyone for their support. After some departed and some stayed to enjoy the indoor pool - sauna and hot showers before leaving but all seemed to enjoy the camp and vowed to return next year. Enjoy the photos.
