SMA Demonstration for Sue Ryder Care Autumn Fayre 2007 |

A smaller team of students than previously used for demonstration purposes but none the less a great display of skill kept the patrons of the Sue Ryder Care home well entertained. The team demonstrated Kihon or basice techniques with Gobon Kumite and kata Heian Nidan. The younger members then demonstrated Bunkai Kumite or application of Heian Nidan. |

Kobudo kata with Nunchaku was performed by Robert and Daniel. Defense against a knife attack was performed by Sensei Brian Jarvis and Craig Bloxsome who as usual came of worst as Dona added insult to injury by continueing Craigs torment by displying Bunkai Kumite from kata Seienchin. |
The Lee sisters fought hard in a Shiai Kumite match which brought the demonstration to a close.
Many thanks to those who partcicptaed and also the parents and supporters of the club. In particular Mr Pete Angel who kindly allowed us the use of his van to transport mats to and from the venue - team work at its best! |
