EKF Jnr & Snr Championships 2008 |

Karate-do Shito-kai England squad members attended the English Karate Federation 2008 Snr & Jnr Championships at Ponds Forge - Sheffield. The 2 day event saw the cream of English Karate competing for the coveted title of being a National Champion. |

The KSE Squad sponsored 10 competitors including Josie Reynolds - Naomi Marshall - Robert Norman - Luke Jones - Daniel Angel - Liam Fletcher - Yasmin Lee - Danielle Lee - Melissa Clayton and Lisa Marfell. |
The best results were 2 bronze medals earned by Liam Fletcher and Yasmin Lee - both in kumite events - well done guys!
Congratulations go to all the team members who all gained valuable experience not to mention being treated to a kata demonstration by the current WKF cadet champion from Egypt who performed kata Unsu. |

Thanks to the parents who set off at the crack of dawn to get to Sheffield by 8am and to Alison Lee who Coached the team after Penny Kent phoned in sick the day before. Further congratulations go to Sensei Brian and Dona for achieveing their National Referee and National Kata and Kumite Judges awards respectively. |
