WKU Championships 2008     25-05-2008
This was our first time at the Western Karate Unions Karate Championships in Weston super Mare and our squad did us proud!
Squad members is attendance were - Daniel Angel - Lewis Angel - Morgan Winstanley - Finley Winstanley - Jordan Dyer - Jordan Pemberton - Danielle Lee - Yasmin Lee - Naomi Marshall - Lisa Marfell - Josie Reynolds - James Cheveralls - Ashleigh Carter - Charlie Foster -Lucy Esfandiarinia - Rhian Esfandiarinia and Melissa Clayton.
Additional members were Craig Turner - William Grant - Lindsay Carter and Max Pemberton. The medal tally was impressive and refelected the great performance of the team as a whole. 1st places went to Naomi Marshall - Morgan Winstanley and rhian Esfandiarinia. 2nd places - Melissa Clayton - Danielle Lee - Yasmin Lee - Lisa Marfell and James Cheveralls. 3rd places - Lewis Angel - Jordan Dyer - Jordan Pemberton - Max pemberton - Danielle Lee - Charlie Foster - Josie Reynolds and Lindsay Carter.
Josie - Naomi and Lisa received silver medals for their team kata as did Max - Lewis and William for their team kata - awesome!!!

Many thanks to Dona for organising, Jill Carter for coaching and of course all the parents for their support. Congratulations to everyone involved on behalf of Shito-kai England Karate School.
