1st FKSM Invitational Championships |
05-10-2008 |
|
The first Shito-kai Murayama Federation championships were held at the Crystal Leiusre Centre, Stourbridge and attracted over 160 competitors from all 3 Federation schools as well as several invited schools. |
KSE put on a good show both in kata and kumite events finishing top in the medals table.
Squad members put their extra training to good use and did very well on all fronts, as did many other students. |
|
Sensei Phil Powell coordinated all events and finished on time. The medical team led by Roger Powell provided excellent care for the competitors. Our invited schools headed by Sensei Mandie Read and Paul Jones lifted the standard and provided some strongly contested events. |
Our thanks to everyone who supported this the 1st FKSM event from competitor to parents to coaches. Also the officials led by Sensei Brian who worked non stop to make it happen fairly.
