Ken Yu Kai Championships 2009 |

Naomi Marshall and Luke Jones travelled to Manchester to take part in the 2nd KYK Championships. The one day event attracted over 400 competitors from home and abroad. Terry Pottage - the head of KYK commented on how pleased he was to see so many quality competitors in attendance.
Unfortunately Noami did not place in the medals but club mate Luke secured a bronze medal in the kumite. Our congratulations go to them both for their efforts and especially Luke for his achievement. Also, our thanks to lukes parents Becky and Allen for being taxi - coach and supporters for the duo. Many thanks and well done to all! |
