Samurai Martial Arts is a professionally run karate school headed by Brian Jarvis -a 5th Dan black belt in Shito-ryu karate-do, one of four major styles of traditional Japanese karate now practiced world wide.

Together with a team of well trained black belt instructors, Brian offers quality instruction for students aged 4 and over. Our classes are structured and progressive whilst allowing each student to learn at their own pace.

Samurai Martial Arts Academy is part of the Karate-do Shito-kai England school of karate, a member of the English Karate Federation (the national governing body for karate in England). We are also proud members of the Federation of Karate-do Shito-Kai Murayama and WSKF (World Shitoryu Karate-do Federation) the world wide governing body whose president is Hisatomi Tokio and whose Governer is Soke Kenei Mabuni, son of Kenwa Mabuni, founder of Shitoryu Karate Do.
